Renovation of the OTP Bank Headquarters

The renovation of the listed headquarters building at 16 Nádor Street in the heart of Budapest combines the preservation of the building's historic character with the creation of a modern banking and office environment. The project aims to retain the architectural heritage of the property while providing a workplace that meets today's operational requirements.

The renovation covers a wide range of spaces throughout the building. The main entrance, entrance hall, bank branch, cafeteria and the landmark cashier hall with its glass roof are being renewed, while the office floors, circulation areas and support spaces are modernised. The top floor is reorganised with a new functional layout. The project also includes the restoration of the façade and windows, the modernisation of the lifts, the complete upgrade of the building services, electrical and fire protection systems, as well as the waterproofing of the basement.

Within the project, we provide technical supervision and project management services. Our responsibilities include overseeing construction quality, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, and supporting coordination between the project's stakeholders. Particular attention is given to balancing the requirements of a listed historic building with the implementation of modern engineering solutions throughout the project.

The renovation will result in a headquarters building that preserves its architectural heritage while providing a contemporary technical standard and a high-quality banking and office environment for the long-term operation of OTP Bank Nyrt.
